Consultations
Your first consultation with Dr Simpson will last 30 minutes and will always be in-person.

Any follow up appointments will last 20 minutes. This can be in-person or over the telephone.

Please refer to the Circle website at the time of booking for information on fees.

Prescriptions
Dr Simpson will be able to prescribe medicines through The Ridgeway Hospital pharmacy.
Alternatively, a recommended treatment plan can be sent to your NHS GP who will follow up with you before prescribing the medicines through the NHS.

Further tests
Any additional blood tests, x-rays or out-patient tests will need to be charged for separately and Dr Simpson will discuss this with you before any decision is taken.
How does Dr Simpson work with my NHS GP?
As an NHS GP herself, Dr Simpson understands the challenges the NHS is facing, particular in General Practice.
​
By visiting a private GP like Katie, she will be able to see you quickly and to devote the time to your medical issues, arguably reducing the burden on the NHS.
​
This will complement your existing NHS GP service and - with a patient's permission - Katie will share her consultation notes with your NHS registered GP.
